Dear Patients,

These past few months have been difficult for our community and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. Although we have new changes to adapt to, one thing has remained the same: our dedication to your safety.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). 
We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued, and to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

You may notice some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. For example: 
  • Our office will communicate with you prior to your appointment to ask screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
  • We have hand sanitizers in different areas throughout the office for you to use as needed.  We installed Extra Oral Suction, Negative Pressure Suction, UV Light, and Air Purifier to our Air Conditioning units. 
  • Our waiting room has been redesigned to prevent overcrowding.  
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. This might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.  
  • We kindly ask you to wear a face mask when entering our office.

Estos últimos meses han sido difíciles para nuestra comunidad y todos nosotros estamos deseando reanudar nuestros hábitos y rutinas normales. Aunque tenemos nuevos cambios a los que adaptarnos, una cosa ha permanecido igual: nuestra dedicación a su seguridad.

Nuestra oficina sigue las recomendaciones de control de infecciones hechas por la Asociación Dental Americana (ADA), los Centros para el Control y la Prevención de Enfermedades de los Estados Unidos (CDC) y la Administración de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional (OSHA, por sus servicios).

Es posible que observe algunos cambios cuando llegue el momento de su próxima consulta. Hemos realizado estos cambios para garantizar la seguridad de nuestros pacientes y personal. Por ejemplo:

  • Nuestra oficina se comunicará con usted antes de su cita para hacer preguntas de detección. Se le harán esas mismas preguntas de nuevo cuando esté en la oficina.
  • Tenemos desinfectantes de manos en diferentes áreas en toda la oficina para que usted pueda utilizar según sea necesario. Instalamos purificadores y luz ultravioleta a nuestras unidades de aire acondicionado y succión de presión negativa durante los procedimientos dentales. 
  • Nuestra sala de espera ha sido rediseñada para evitar el hacinamiento.
  • Las citas se gestionarán para permitir el distanciamiento social entre los pacientes. Esto podría significar que se te ofrecen menos opciones para programar la consulta.
  • Le pedimos amablemente que use una máscara facial al entrar en nuestra oficina.
